1. Function and structural characteristics of large shaft forging parts

Shaft large forging parts are a relatively common part in all mechanical products. The function of this part is to support the transmission parts and transmit torque. The shaft is a rotating body part. 2. Accuracy requirements for large shaft forging parts

Large-scale shaft forgings have high requirements for precision during processing, and defects cannot exist. (1) Dimensional accuracy and geometric shape accuracy

The journal of the shaft is an important surface of the shaft parts, and its quality directly affects the rotation accuracy of the shaft when it is working. The diameter accuracy of the journal is usually 1T6 according to the requirements of use, and sometimes it can reach 1T5. The geometrical accuracy of the journal should be limited within the diameter tolerance.

(2) Position accuracy

The coaxiality of the mating journal (the journal for assembling the transmission parts) relative to the supporting journal (the journal for assembling the bearing) and the perpendicularity between the journal and the supporting end face are usually required to be higher.

(3) Surface roughness

Each machined surface of shaft parts has surface roughness requirements. In general, the surface roughness value of the bearing journal is required to be small. It is Rα0.63~0.16, and the surface roughness value of the matching journal is Rα2.5~0.63.

During the forging process, a very delicate particle structure is built, so the physical properties of the shaft parts have been greatly improved. It has excellent physical properties in practical applications.

During the forging process of large shaft forgings, attention should be paid to: in the ordinary flat anvil drawing process of the traditional forging process theory, there are often longitudinal cracks or axial dense defects in the middle area of ​​the roll body. The forging processing technology also needs to be improved, and the forging permeability of the flat anvil drawing process needs to be improved. At the same time, professional forging technicians and inspectors are also factors that affect the quality of forgings.
